Players and coaches of Tatarstan's hearing and visually impaired football teams spoke in Kazan's City Press Center about the infrastructure at the FIFA Fan Fest and in the region.

Ramil Kayumov, a coach of the regional team, said that all the necessary infrastructure for football was set up in Tatarstan following a number of large-scale athletic events.

"We get a lot of assistance from the sports training center of the Committee on Youth Affairs and Sports. We procure the inventory thanks to them," he said. "As of today, three of our totally blind footballers are members of the Russian national team."

He also told journalists that during the 2018 FIFA World CupTM Tatarstan's regional team and the team of the town of Laishevo had a match at the Laishevo agricultural college.

The players on the Tatarstan's visually impaired football team, in turn, shared their impressions of the World Cup. Master of Sports Anton Agafonov said he has not been able to visit the stadium yet but he enjoys watching the matches at the FIFA Fan Fest.

"If we can, we will go to cheer for Russia today. There are no obstacles for our disability there. The volunteers are doing a great job: they welcome us at the entrance and can help a person with some residual vision to get closer to the screen. And the reach of sound there is excellent," Agafonov said. "The World Cup will end but all the beautiful things will remain. It is great for us, for residents of the Republic of Tatarstan."
